The historical index follows realized balance after each closed trade. The recent monitoring view follows equity including open positions. The records overlap on October 23 and use unverified time-zone conventions, so we have not joined them into one continuous return series.
The curve can fall below the entry point. Brokerage execution, currency conversion, costs and timing can change actual results.

A simple number with a clear method.
Each investor follows percentage changes between entry and exit. Additional deposits to the trading account do not count as investment performance.
Here, equity includes unrealized P/L. Net cash flow refers to external deposits less withdrawals since the previous observation. This simplified formula assumes those flows occur at the measurement boundary. Production calculations require transaction-time reconciliation and a documented time-weighted-return methodology.

Before you begin
What trading record is used for the index?+
The historical index is reconstructed from completed trades in a simulated MT4 account statement. The separate recent view comes from that account's reviewed equity observations. Neither establishes returns in separately executed real-money accounts. Independent broker statements from those accounts would be needed to support real-money performance claims. Historical balance does not include intratrade floating losses.
Can I invest real money through this website?+
No. There is no live brokerage, deposit, withdrawal or trading functionality in this prototype. The virtual portfolio uses browser storage and imaginary money only.
Would following the index give me exactly the index return?+
No. Timing, trade execution, position sizing, account currency, spread, swaps, slippage, taxes and fees can create differences. An index describes a reference performance record, not a guaranteed payment.
How is a 15% fee calculated?+
The simulator takes 15% of positive realized gain when a virtual withdrawal occurs, allocating cost basis by first-in, first-out. An actual service would need a written fee schedule, loss carryforward or high-water-mark treatment, and legal review.
